Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions families most often ask about our respite care and specialty home care services.
Respite care provides temporary relief for family members who are the primary caregivers for a loved one. RichWell’s trained caregivers step in so you can rest, attend to personal needs, or simply recharge — knowing your loved one is in safe, compassionate hands. Respite care can be scheduled for a few hours, a full day, or on a recurring weekly basis.
In most cases, we can begin care within 24 to 48 hours of your initial consultation. For urgent situations — such as a sudden hospital discharge or a loved one entering the final stages of illness — we make every effort to place a caregiver the same day. Call us at 832-730-2480 for immediate assistance.
RichWell currently operates as a private-pay agency, meaning services are paid directly by clients or families. We accept personal funds, long-term care insurance, and Veterans Administration (VA) benefits where applicable. We are happy to provide detailed service agreements and invoices to assist with insurance reimbursement claims.
